You write the way you speak — call mum tomorrow #calls /Family — and the task is captured: due date, tag and project set themselves. Nothing to parse, no fields to fill.
"Today" really means today
The screen shows only what's come due. Everything else waits quietly in "Someday". Didn't get to it? Moving a task is a normal action, not a failure — no red counters, no streaks.
What the line understands
Write it however you'd say it — no syntax to learn:

Apps get abandoned not from laziness but from bulk: first the setup, then the system, then it's embarrassing to open. In Nuvo there's nothing to configure. Skip a week and you're met by the same short list; coming back is one tap.
I don't have time to set up a system.
You don't need to. No sign-up, no required fields, no priorities. Areas and projects appear when a plain list isn't enough; if that never happens, you never needed them.

How do I know my tasks aren't locked inside?
It's verifiable, not just promised. Notes are plain Markdown and readable without the app. Every task exports to your calendar, free and forever. There's a web version and an API — you can take your data without asking us.
I need team work: boards, assignees, deadlines for everyone.
Then this isn't for you. Nuvo is about one person's tasks and deliberately doesn't do boards or assignments. If the goal is not losing your own things among everyone else's, it fits; to run a team, you need a different tool.
